Visionaries like Melema are almost always villainized even by those the ideas of the visionary stands to benefit. Many black people around the world were dismayed when South Africans handed EFF and Melema a crushing defeat in the last election. I know Melema, EFF and their ideas have not seen their best days yet!
firstly, the original Communist party of South Africa, was a Whites only party, led by Bill Andrews, a "White Supremacist".
why would this be ?
really simple answer. when the Dutch colonized the cape colony, none of the people who we refer to as "indigenous" to south africa were there yet (the bantu tribes entered south africa after whites, in a migration called the Mafekine)
during the Napoleonic wars, the british seized the cape colony, banned dutch, banned the dutch reformed church, around 25,000 of the 60,000 or so Whites of the Cape colony fled, and went into the unexplored inland. they encountered the Zulus, with whom they sought peace. they performed a number of tasks for the zulus, dug a well, recovered cattle, and purchased territory to build a state upon. at the peace ceremony whites came unarmed. half way through King Dingane stood up and screamed "kill the Wizards !" the 70 or so White men were massacred, the zulus then tracked their women and children back to their camp and massacred all but 2 out of the 500 there, the two fled to warn other groups .
A man named Andrius Pretorius, gathered a few hundred men from the various different groups to seek vengeance (pretoria is named after him, the capital of south Africa) he was joined by German mercenaries, and 70 Scottish who deserted from the nearby british outpost of Durban and joined the Voortrekkers.
at the battle of blood river they met the zulu forces, and killed 5,000 zulu while suffering not a single casualty. after this the Zulu agreed to surrender land for 2 White Boer republics, Transvaal and the Orange free state, and a Mulatto republic (mulattos were called Cape Bastards, or Griqua, the children of white fathers and black or asian mothers) the Griqua also followed the Boers inland when they went north.
50 years later the British again invaded the two White republics which had recently become rich with mining, they couldn't defeat the White South Africans in combat, so they replaced the commander three years into the boer war (after losing over 100,000 troops while the boers had lost 5,000) with general Lord Kirchener, who went after the South African women and children, creating the first concentration camps and killing 125,000 boer women and children, causing the boers to surrender.
in 1920, they began moving blacks into the formerly independent White republics of transvaal and orange free state, to work the mines, and replace White miners. this is when the South African communist party (whites only) led the Rand revolt.
South Africa is a story of Whites settling empty, uninhabited land, getting conquered by england, then forced to share a country. when South Africa gained its independence, it had a White plurality, around 35% White, 30% mixed, 30% black 5% asian. generous welfare programs for the blacks, as well as modern medicine caused the black population to skyrocket.
modern South Africa is the colonization of blacks by Whites. 97% of taxes in South Africa are paid by the White minority, who are discriminated against in over 150 laws. its illegal to hire a White, for ANY job, unless a qualified black doesn't exist.
you want to decolonize South Africa ? you have to go back to the federation model during Apartheid. every black tribe has its own independent land, then the Cape, orange free state, and transvaal form a White republic
